Halloween Events, Activities Arrive at OWA

October 1, 2018

Family-friendly ‘Park After Dark,’ scary attractions in Downtown and more

(Foley, Alabama) – Get ready for heart-pumping thrills starting this Friday, Oct. 5 at the Gulf Coast’s hottest entertainment destination. Halloween makes a comeback at OWA with another jam-packed season of tricks and treats for all ages. In addition to OWA’s highly anticipated haunted attraction (Town of Terror: Circus Asylum), The Park at OWA will also feature kid-friendly events every Saturday and Sunday from 5:30-7:30pm throughout October.

“OWA’s goal is always to have something for everyone, so we have incorporated a family-friendly, non-scary experience inside the amusement park gates,” said Kristin Hellmich, OWA’s Director of Marketing/PR. “The ‘Park After Dark’ is a place for families to enjoy the thrills of the Park, as well as the sweeter side of Halloween with arts and crafts, a hay maze, and a variety of themed activities.”

Each Saturday and Sunday in October, OWA’s gated amusement park will have Halloween-themed fun for “The Park After Dark.” From daytime activities to family-friendly evening events, The Park After Dark is the perfect place to make Halloween memories with the young ones. Once inside The Park at OWA, enjoy free activities such as a pumpkin painting contest, trick-or-treating, rock painting, a costume contest, and hay bale maze with friendly costumed characters. Plus, you can also enjoy unlimited access to more than 21 different attractions throughout the day with Park admission.

Specific dates for activities and contests can be found at VisitOWA.com/Events. Admission to The Park at OWA is required to participate in Park After Dark events. The second annual Town of Terror haunted attraction opens to the public Friday, Oct. 5 at 6pm. Tickets to the amusement park and OWA’s Town of Terror can be found at VisitOWA.com/Tickets.
