Welcome to OWA Parks & Resort! To ensure fun and safety for all of our guests, please note the following rules.

General OWA Parks & Resort

All guests entering OWA are subject to the policies and guidelines set forth by management.

  • Do not use profanity or engage in illegal or offensive behavior.
  • OWA management reserves the right to temporarily close venues for the purposes of maintenance or private events without prior notice or any compensation.
  • Guests should not leave any valuable or personal belongings unattended. OWA is not responsible or liable for any lost, stolen or damaged property.
  • Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
  • Please consume alcohol in a responsible manner. Do not drink and drive. Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol are subject to expulsion from the property.
  • No outside food or beverage is permitted on OWA property.
  • No firearms or weapons are permitted on OWA property.
  • Use of inline skates, hover boards, skateboards, bicycles, two-wheel scooters or segways is prohibited.
  • Respectful attire must be worn at all times. OWA management reserves the right to refuse admittance or expel guests with unacceptable attire.
  • OWA management reserves the right to eject guests if in the managements opinion, that guest may pose a risk to the safety of other guests and/or affect their enjoyment within OWA property.
  • The distribution of handbills or brochures is prohibited.

By entering the park, guests grant Tropic Falls the right to film, video, record or photograph them on park property for any reason without payment or consideration. Tropic Falls requests that all photographs or video taken by our guests be used for their personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of of OWA Parks & Resort is strictly prohibited. OWA reserves the right to refuse to allow photography of any kind as necessary at individual locations. No commercial photography of any kind is permitted. Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted:

  • Go Pro cameras
  • Lenses greater than three-and-one-half inches in length
  • Interchangeable lenses of any kind
  • Any camera mounted to a vehicle, drone, cart, scooter or other moving object
  • No cameras (video, still, cell-phone, smart phones, etc.) are allowed on any rides at any time. No exceptions.

All Tropic Falls rides, shows and attractions are protected by copyright. Guests must have written permission to use photographs and/or videotape of Tropic Falls images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing or publishing in any medium.

Tropic Falls

Appropriate Attire
• Attire must be appropriate for our family environment, including graphics
and skin exposure.
• Swimwear is allowed only in the Water Park and Wacky Waters, and is
required to participate on water slides and in swimming pools.
• Swimwear with zippers, rivets, or other potential sharp/hard accessories
are not permitted on water slides.
• Footwear may be restricted on some Water Park attractions and all pools.
• Proper cover-ups are required in the Theme Park including tops
and bottoms.
• Footwear is required in the Theme Park, except when participating in the
Wacky Waters attraction.


Conduct Expectations
• Follow all posted and spoken safety warnings and instructions.
• Walk, no running or horseplay allowed.
• Remain on paved paths, do not enter restricted areas or sit on or climb
over/under fences, handrails, walls or other barriers.
• Be considerate of others. Do not use profane, abusive or vulgar language.
• No line jumping, including saving places in line.
• Smoking, including vaping and e-cigarettes, is only allowed in
designated areas within the Theme Park.

Items Not Allowed in Our Park
• Firearms, explosives, and all other potential weapons, including knives
of any size.
• Only service animals are allowed in the Water Park or any buildings.
• Skateboards, roller skates/blades, hover boards, and Segways.
• Speakers or other electronics that may distract from the enjoyment of
other Guests.

• Riders must follow instructions given by Lifeguards.
• Riders must be able to demonstrate a willingness and
ability to comply with verbal and written rider
requirements.
• Riders must have the ability to maintain proper
riding position including independently supporting
their torso, neck and head throughout the entire
attraction.
• Riders with the following physical and medical
conditions should not ride: pregnant women, riders
with heart conditions, riders with neck or back
problems.
• Riders under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not
permitted to ride.
• Riders must wear proper swimming attire. Swimming
attire with buckles, rivets, any sharp objects or
denim are prohibited.
• No food or drinks allowed.
• No footwear of any kind is allowed on the attraction.
• Riders with casts or braces may not ride Tangerine
Scream or Piranha Plunge.
• Riders must be able to negotiate stairs to ride.
• Wait for instructions prior to entering slide.
• Do not attempt to rotate, rock, slow down or stop
on slide.
• Exit slide as quickly as possible.

Tropic Falls rides and attractions

Due to the nature of this ride, parental supervision is advised. This is a spinning experience. The ride will exhibit tilting, swinging, upward and downward movements. Carefully watch the action and movements of this ride before deciding if it is appropriate to participate. Failure to follow posted rules may result in injury or expulsion from the park at OWA.

Persons with the following conditions should not ride:

  • Expectant mothers
  • Heart or blood pressure conditions
  • Back of neck conditions
  • Motion sickness or dizziness
  • Fear of heights
  • Recent surgery or easily aggravated conditions
  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Prosthetics are NOT allowed on this ride.

  • One guest per individual seat.
  • Remain seated at all times.
  • Hold on at all times. Keep hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times.
  • Rider must be aware of their surroundings.
  • Rider under 42 inches in height may not ride this attraction. Rider between the height of 42 and 48 inches may ride if accompanied by a responsible person. Rider above 48 inches may ride alone.
  • Rider must transfer from standard wheelchair to ride seat on their own.
  • No lap seating permitted.
  • No eating, drinking or smoking allowed on the ride.
  • No loose personal belongings allowed on the ride.
  • Rider must be able to maintain a seated up right position on their own.
  • Rider must have one fully Functional Naturally formed arm and hand to hold on with.
  • Rider must have two naturally formed legs to the knee.

This attraction features 3 slides with mats for riders to compete with their friends and see who reaches the bottom first!
