Legends in Concert Goes Country This Spring Presenting Legends of Country at OWA Theater

FOLEY, ALABAMA (January 25, 2022) – Legends in Concert and the OWA Theater are ready to kick-off the spring season with some of the biggest names in country music history. The longest-running and most-awarded show in Las Vegas history, Legends in Concert, will present Legends of Country this spring at the state-of-the-art OWA Theater. The show will pay tribute to four of the biggest icons and luminaries in country music, together on one stage and portrayed by the world’s greatest tribute artists.

This new production is more spectacular than ever with dazzling tributes by Stacey Whitton Summers as she pays homage to Shania Twain and Martina McBride, Shawn Gerhard as country music superstar Garth Brooks and Patrick Dunn as Elvis Presley.  Elvis tribute artist fans around the country will recognize Patrick, as heis the recently crowned 2021 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion from Elvis Week in Memphis. Legends of Country will be his first and only appearance in coastal Alabama, so don’t miss out!

“We are thrilled to present Legends of Country at OWA Parks & Resort this spring, as our fans that have attended our previous shows have asked for more country music in this market,” said Brian Brigner, Chief Operating Officer of Legends in Concert.  “We are also excited to welcome the reigning Ultimate Elvis as recognized by Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises, making his debut in Foley. 

Legends in Concert will have performances February 9 – May 29, 2022 at the OWA Theater located in Downtown OWA, Wednesday through Saturday at 7:00pm in February, then the same days at 7:30pm beginning in March, and with a weekend matinee performance on Sunday at 3pm all spring. Since its debut in 1983, Legends in Concert has earned countless entertainment industry awards including “Show of the Year,” “Entertainers of the Year,” “Grand Slam,” and the prestigious “Show of Shows” awarded by the International Press Association and was most recently awarded the “Casino Production Show of the Year,” at the sixth annual Casino Entertainment Awards, presented by The Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
