If you loved GLOWA, you are in for a treat! RWS Entertainment and OWA are happy to partner once again to bring you this live show fueled by the magic of Halloween, theme parks, and theater! Get ready for a fright-astic Halloween song and dance adventure!

Principal Dr. Hyde’s ghostly students have arrived at OWA and are ready to strut their stuff. Each student must pass their final exam by preparing a unique act that will be judged by none other than the ghoulish guests in the audience! It’s up to you to decide who will pass this bone-chilling exam and graduate with honors from “Hyde School!’ Get ready to rock the graveyard… it’s Hyde School Musical!

We’ve heard detention from Dr. Hyde can be pretty gruesome, quick check out the Halloween events page before he catches us!

FAQ

  • Are blankets allowed? Yes, blankets and towels are allowed.
  • Are folding chairs allowed? Yes, a limited number of folding chairs are allowed only in designated locations as directed by an OWA employee upon arrival.
  • Are pets allowed on a leash? Yes, leashed pets are allowed.
  • May I bring a cooler or picnic basket with food and drink? Coolers or outside food are not permitted, however food or drink purchased from any onsite OWA restaurant will be allowed.
  • Can I purchase alcoholic beverages on the island? While alcoholic beverages are not available for purchase on the Island at this time, OWA restaurants are permitted to sell alcoholic beverages to patrons who are 21 & older (with valid ID) which can then be consumed on the Island. OWA’s entertainment District allows patrons to enjoy the Downtown OWA area, including the Island, with their alcoholic beverages as long as they keep the beverage in the cup provided by the restaurant at time of purchase.
  • Do you have designated seating available for guests with a disability? Yes, designated ADA-accessible seating will be available. See an OWA employee for assistance upon arrival.
  • Is smoking permitted? Smoking, electronic cigarettes, or vaping is only permitted in designated smoking sections, which will clearly be marked with signage.

Temperance Jones-   (Frankie)

Temperance Jones is a singer and actor from Birmingham, AL where she currently resides. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Musical Theatre from Belhaven University and is currently performing in various places nationally. She has been featured in musical revues with International Performing Arts Institute, a chorus member at Opera Mississippi, toured with Bright Star Touring Theatre, and will play Alice’s Daughter in Everblue Art’s upcoming production of Big River. Jones was an active member of the Chaminade Music Club and former teacher at Jackson Preparatory School in Jackson, Mississippi, she cultivated her love for music and musical theatre through performance and music education.

 

 

Morgan Davidson-   (Doris the Devil)

Originally from Meridian, MS, Morgan is now a native of Mobile, AL pursuing her Acting Degree at the University of Mobile. Recently, she has discovered a love and a passion for teaching. Upon finishing her Bachelor’s degree in May 2021, she plans to attend an MFA Acting program so she can teach collegiately while also performing professionally. She is the acting/voice instructor at The PACT Mobile and Bay Area Performing Arts. Morgan loves long walks on the beach, Mexican food, country music, and Everblue Arts.

 

Shadoe Valentin-   (Dracula Jr.) 

Shadoe Valentin holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and is currently in the Graduate program at The University of Mobile pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Musical Theatre. From his performances as Alfred in Die Fledermaus and Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro to Tateh in Ragtime and performing in Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World, Shadoe has blended credits in both Operatic and Musical Theatre repertoire. A Southwest Florida native, he has been involved in music and theatre from a young age and loves to bring any role he’s gifted to portray to life. Shadoe is excited to be a part of this Halloween musical event and knows you and the family will have a monster of a time!

 

Daniel Wayne-   (Billy Bagabones) 

Originally from Honolulu, HI, Daniel was trained in Ocean Springs, MS under the counsel of well-known choreographer and dance educator Donna Burke. When he graduated, he moved on to train in LA and assisted master teachers like SYTYCD’s Katee Shean and Tyce Diorio, Al Bee, Nick Gonzalez, and the late Andre Fuentes the list belongs on. picking up credits in his choreography from his award-winning competition numbers all over the US, working with the ALDC for the tv show Dance Moms, dancing and being featured in movies like Miley Cyrus The Last Song, Hilary Duffs Business and the briefcase, and Ryan Reynolds the Green Lantern just to name a few. Daniel teaches on the circuit with NYDE and the new Australian convention Xchange Dance tour and danced on the grand ole Opry stage with American Idol artist Mandisa and Christian superstar Matthew West,  Daniel can also be examined as the lead dancer dancing with SYTYCD Joy Spears in the latest Florida, Georgia Line music video, a core faculty member at the Millennium Dance Complex in Nashville TN and just finished being lead singer and dancer for Legends in concert And Lytgo Panto‘s Aladdin with an all-star cast.

Michael Seward-     (Director, Choreographer, On-site Producer)

Michael has been with Emmy Award-Winning RWS Entertainment Group for over 11 years and is ecstatic to bring this spooky show to the area! Originally from Daphne, Alabama he has been working professionally as well as internationally for over 13 years!  Hersheypark-MDP, Annie Get Your Gun, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Aladdin, Crazy For You-CPCC, Rent-Red Mountain Theater Company, The Wild Party-Virginia Samford Theater, Cats-Amish Acres, Aida, A Chorus Line, White Christmas, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Avenue Q- Midtown Arts Center, Norwegian Cruise Line-Spirit/Sun-(Caribbean, Alaska, Baltics), Big Band Beat-Tokyo Disney Sea, Junie B. Jones (AEA Nat. Tour)-TWUSA, Holland America Cruise Line-Oosterdam/Koningsdam-(Mediterranean, Alaska)-RWS, Workshops – HAL, Azamara Cruise Line, Hersheypark. Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring The Rockettes-(AGVA)-RCMH/MSG, Back Ground Vocals-RWS.  He has also developed and opened Seward Studios, his own vocal/performance studio, featuring high-quality individualized training as well as direct industry access!  Michael loves the opportunity to bring a little bit of the Big Apple to the area, as well as training and shaping the next batch of artists for longevity and success!
