Legends in Concert Announces Sizzling Summer Lineup at OWA Theater

Tributes to Jimmy Buffet, Stevie Wonder, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars and Elvis Presley will wow audiences in Coastal Alabama beginning June 9

FOLEY, AL (April 29, 2021) – Legends in Concert and the OWA Theater are ready to kick-off summer with a sizzling hot lineup of some of the biggest names in music history. The longest-running and most-awarded show in Las Vegas history, Legends in Concert, brings the King of Rock and Roll, a soul sensation, some island escapism, a country music megastar and a little 24 karat magic, together on one stage, opening June 9. This show will feature not only the world’s greatest tribute artists, but also high energy dancers, back-up vocalists, a live band,  magnificent costumes, elaborate theatrical sets, a full array of incredible special effects, and much more.

Fans will certainly feel the summer vibe with Barrie Cunningham’s impeccable portrayal of Jimmy Buffett, quite fitting the for the Gulf Coast, while experiencing the debut of a new character, Legend in the making Carrie Underwood, performed by the talented Erika Moul. Elvis Presley returns with hunk of “Burnin’ Love” Leo Days, back by popular demand, in his beloved portrayal of The King, Elvis Presley. Isaiah, as Bruno Mars, will welcome you “Just The Way You Are,” while sharing the summer stage with Tina Ibach as he pays homage to Stevie Wonder, who will make sure you’re not “uptight,” on your vacation to Coastal Alabama.

Legends in Concert continues to celebrate the world’s most famous and influential icons. Many of these icons are gone too soon which is why these performances give audiences an extraordinary chance to experience the most captivating music, fashion and memories of these true legends live on one stage. Legends in Concert will present two versions of the show this summer.  The line-up June 9 – July 17, 2021 will feature tributes to Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Buffett and Carrie Underwood, while July 18 – September 5, 2021, Bruno Mars will join the cast replacing Carrie Underwood for the latter half of the series.  Shows are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30pm, with weekend matinee performances on Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm. Since its debut in 1983, Legends in Concert has earned countless entertainment industry awards including “Show of the Year,” “Entertainers of the Year,” “Grand Slam,” and the prestigious “Show of Shows” awarded by the International Press Association. Legends in Concert has also been awarded the 2018 “Casino Production Show of the Year,” at the sixth annual Casino Entertainment Awards, presented by The Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
