Artist Spotlight

Jon Nite

“Hailing from West Texas, Jon moved to Nashville at the age of 18 working multiple jobs to get through college and ultimately giving up on music to provide a life for a young family.  Encouraged by his wife not to quit, he eventually saved up to attempt a career in music and in just the handful of years since, he has had 12 #1 singles and been awarded three CMA Triple Play Awards, ACM Vocal Event of the Year for “We Were Us” and his song “Whatever She’s Got” was named one of the Top 100 songs played this decade.  He recently received NSAI’s peer-voted Song of the Year Award for Cole Swindell’s “Break Up In The End.” Jon is an advocate for NSAI in the community and has been interested and involved in the advocacy arena.” – By American Songwriters

Dylan Altman

Originally from the great state of New Jersey, Dylan Altman has been writing songs and performing in Nashville since 1995. Altman has had three #1 songs: Tim McGraw’s “Watch The Wind Blow By,” Jake Owen’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and most recently Jason Aldean’s “Take A Little Ride.” Other artists who have recorded Altman’s songs include Eric Paslay, Chase Bryant, Joe Nichols, Eli Young Band, Gloriana, Jennette McCurdy, Trace Adkins, Will Hoge, Gabe Dixon, John King, JT Hodges, The Almost, Ted Russell Kamp, Hayden Panettiere and Jonathan Jackson.

Altman is an avid supporter and volunteer for Musicians On Call (an organization that provides live music for patients in area hospitals) and co-hosts an annual benefit for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) with good friend and frequent collaborator, EMI Records Nashville recording artist Eric Paslay. His proudest accomplishment is his beautiful daughter Isabella, who serves as his greatest inspiration.” – By Spirit Music

Lindsay Rimes

“Originally from Sydney, Australia, Lindsay Rimes has become a very successful songwriter & producer since he moved to Nashville four years ago. He has co-written two big country hits: “Heaven” for Kane Brown (which also reached #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart), and “Hooked” for Dylan Scott. He’s also produced several hits for other artists.

It’s fairly common for American songwriters to move to Nashville, but it’s rare for a musician to travel many times from Australia to Nashville to collaborate, and then decide to relocate there. That’s what Rimes has done, and he’s made a smooth transition writing & producing in Nashville, and networking with many top artists, songwriters and music execs.

In addition to co-writing hits for Brown and Scott, Rimes has co-written songs that have been released by Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, Chase Bryant, the Cadillac Three, Phillip Phillips, Canaan Smith and Drake White.

Rimes has also established himself as an in-demand record producer. He has produced three hits for country duo LoCash: “I Love This Life,” “I Know Somebody” and “Ring on Every Finger.” Rimes also produced Tyler Rich’s current hit, “The Difference.”

Besides his work with country artists, Rimes has also collaborated with pop and rock artists. He co-wrote & produced the title cut for Australian pop star Kylie Minogue’s latest album, Golden. Rimes also co-wrote & produced a song for pop star Troye Sivan’s 2014 EP, TRXYE. And recently, he has co-written with Dan Layus, frontman for the rock band, Augustana.” – By Dale Kawashima from Songwriters Universe
