Let’s celebrate a new year together! We’ll count down at 8:50pm and blast off the fireworks early!

2021 is out of here! Let’s send her off with a party because we’re over it! Dance your New Year’s Eve night away and let’s celebrate surviving the culmination of this one-of-a-kind (at least, let’s hope so) year.

Back by popular demand, we’re excited to welcome back two special bands that were featured at our OWA Live Concert Series this past summer. Starting at 5:00pm, country musicians the Miles Flatt Band will croon two one-hour sets for us, followed by a live performance from regional Motown group The Tip Tops starting at 7:00pm. Bring your chair, blanket, or towel to snag your spot at the OWA Island Amphitheater and enjoy the music.

Stick around for our epic fireworks show starting at 8:50pm! Looking for the perfect viewing area? We recommend the OWA Island Amphitheater, the bridge by Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen or near Murder Creek Distillery. But really, there’s no bad view!

Plus, visit us a little earlier for kid-friendly fun in Downtown OWA at our Bubbles & Beats Street Party starting at 2:00pm!

Band Information

“The Tip Tops are a high-energy dance band from Mobile, Alabama. The Tip Tops band play Motown, Soul, Funk along with current Pop and Top 40. Start off with The Supremes, Otis Redding, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye and mix in some Sam Cooke, Kool and the Gang, The Commodores and Sister Sledge. Top it off with some Robin Thicke, Adele, Pharrell Williams and you have decades of classic and modern hits!”

“A Miles Flatt show has been described as a concert with a dance floor. The band has put together a high energy show that will keep you on your feet for hours. Miles Flatt likes to think they have a little something for everybody.”
