OWA Updates: COVID safety guidelines

Gulf Coast Diabetes WALK

March 2

Join us in Downtown OWA for the Diabetes WALK for Camp Seale Harris, an exciting family-friendly Walk/Run that brings together local friends living with diabetes on March 2nd from 9am to noon. This event not only raises awareness of Type 1 diabetes but also serves as a fundraising opportunity for Camp Seale Harris, the leading organization dedicated to directly supporting children with diabetes in your community. All registered kids living with Type 1 diabetes will receive special recognition and a prize bag, making this event even more meaningful and inclusive for families dealing with this condition.

In addition to the Walk/Run, educational and supportive medical vendors will be present to provide valuable resources for attending guests. These vendors play a crucial role in offering information and support to individuals and families managing diabetes. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with experts in the field and gain insights into managing diabetes effectively.

Whether you decide to register individually or as a team, you can extend the invitation to friends, family, and co-workers to join your efforts. Encourage them to contribute by donating to your WALK page, amplifying the impact of your participation, and helping Camp Seale Harris continue its vital work in supporting children with diabetes.

Come on out and be a part of this community event, where each step you take and every donation you raise contributes to making a difference in the lives of those affected by Type 1 diabetes.
