Use your Aqua Play skills to Dash to the Cash on September 25! There will be 4 age groups competing for a total of $550 in cash prizes. Guests will compete to see who’s swiftest at completing the Aqua Play courses.

Must sign up by Sept. 24. No day of registration permitted.

Event Schedule:

10am – Participants arrive and check in
11am – Practice runs
12pm – Competition begins
Division 1 – 12pm-1pm
Division 2 – 1pm-2pm
Division 3 – 2pm-3pm
Division 4 – 3pm-4pm
4pm – Award Ceremony

Divisions 1 & 2 will race the smaller course, and Divisions 3 & 4 will compete on the larger course. Entry fee is $25 and includes a free swag bag with Dash to the Cash t-shirt. Competitors will race one at a time on the Aqua Play as they’re timed to see who finishes the fastest. Whoever finishes in the shortest amount of time takes home the prize money, plus a voucher for 1 free Aqua Play Session!

Division 1: 6-10-year-old; first place wins $100
Division 2: 11-15-year-old; first place wins $100
Division 3: 16-21-year-old; first place wins $150
Division 4: 22 years old or older; first place wins $200

Rules & Regulations

Dash to the Cash Competition
Join us on Saturday, September 18, 2021, starting at 12:00pm (CST) as OWA Watersports LLC (d/b/a “Gravity Island Watersports”) hosts the “Dash to the Cash” Aqua Play Competition. This fast-paced event allows participants to compete in timed races on the aqua play for a chance to win cash and prizes. Entry is $25 and includes a free swag bag with Dash to the Cash t-shirt. Odds of winning are dependent on how many participants in the relevant division compete.
Participant competitors will face off against the clock in a timed race one by one on the Aqua Play. Whoever finishes in the fastest time (per division) takes home the cash prize money, plus a voucher for 1 free Aqua Play Session!
All participants must register online prior to competition. Those who do not register online by Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11:59pm (CST) will not be eligible to participate. Participants who are below 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian register for them. NOTE: THIS EVENT TICKET IS NOT A STANDARD AQUA PLAY SESSION. If you prefer to purchase a standard 45-minute Aqua Play session to play at your leisure, please go “back” on your browser and then select a time/date for your session.

Important Things to Know
• Top three winners in each division will receive a prize and be published on our online leaderboard.
• First place only in each division will receive a cash prize.
• All participants must have a valid liability release waiver completed. Participants who are below 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign.
• All participants will be given a “warm up” time prior to the races starting. This time on the Aqua Park will include the other competitors.
• Please ensure you have reviewed and understand these rules and the posted rules.
• There are numerous areas around the Aqua Play for spectators.
• Gravity Island Watersports does offer restroom facilities. The Boathouse offers light concessions and treats.
CHECK IN: Upon check-in on race day, participants will be assigned a race heat based on age. Proof of age will be required in the form of a valid state issued ID, passport, and/or birth certificate. Participants who are below 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present with them at check-in.
WARMUPS: Be sure to arrive by 12pm CST, on Saturday, September 18, 2021, to start strategizing and warming up your competition feet with all other all eligible participants.
Participant General Rules & Regulations
• Participants must comply with all Gravity Island Watersports posted rules and regulations for the Aqua Play found here.
• Valid state issued photo ID or passport must be presented at check in to identify eligible age group. For children ages 17 & under, a birth certificate reflecting date of birth will be sufficient. Participants who are below 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present with them at check-in.
• No swimming underneath/around the obstacles. If you fall off an obstacle, you must go to the nearest stairs and continue the course.
• No diving, flips, or headfirst entries. Enter the water feet first.
• Participants perceived to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to compete and will forfeit their entry fee.
• All participants must wear a provided USCGA life vest.
• Aqua Socks, Water Shoes, or other footwear will not be permitted.
• Your time will start when you leave the designated start line and end when you cross the finish line.
Inclement Weather Policy
Gravity Island Watersports reserves the right to postpone the race as much as 30 minutes to account for inclement weather. If postponement is not possible, the race will be rescheduled for the following day (Sunday) at the same time. Competitors will be given the option to have their entry applied towards the postponement race, the next upcoming race, or refunded.


Eligible to Participate
The promotion is only open to legal residents of the United States of America. Current or former employees or family members of employees of Gravity Island Watersports or any Foley Holdings LLC owned entities shall be ineligible to participate.
ANY VIOLATION OF THE ABOVE RULES OR THE OTHER POSTED RULES FOR AQUA PLAY BY ANY PARTICIPANT (AS DETERMINED IN GRAVITY ISLAND WATERSPORTS’ SOLE DISCRETION) MAY RESULT IN SUCH PARTICIPANT BEING DISQUALIFIED AS A WINNER AND/OR BEING DISQUALIFIED AS ELIGABLE TO WIN.
